​The common thread of his success has been the ability to market his business through aggressive advertising, gain customer loyalty by providing unparalleled sales support and drive sales through his relationships with service providers, retailers and expansive distribution ​networks. Mr. Loftin and his staff have a combined decade’s worth of tax prep experience.

In addition to founding Liquid Tax, Mr. Loftin is co-founder of Kelcin, Inc., d/b/a United ​Distributors, an aggregate distributor of wireless phones throughout the East Coast and ​Mid-West regions of the United States with average annual sales in excess of $7 million. Mr. Loftin has 8 years of experience in both the retail and wholesale/distribution elements of the wireless industry, and has developed relationships with over 500 dealers and customers (including, without limitation, Winn-Dixie, Kroger, regional and local convenience store chains, pawn shops and individually owned, “traditional” wireless retail stores).

​Mr. Loftin’s entrepreneurial career began in 1997 at the age of 27 when he and a partner purchased a fledgling (2 store) retail paging company in Birmingham, Alabama for $400,000. He and his partner were able to turn what was once a non-profitable company into a money-maker and sold the business 13 months later for nearly $3 million dollars. Mr. Loftin has extensive experience in marketing and advertising, sales and service and acquisitions.
